Help capturing a streaming video ??
« on: March 15, 2012, 10:35:20 AM »
Can anyone help me out with capturing a good quality stream of this performance?
(It's a side project featuring some of my favorite musicians.)

The typical YouTube downloaders are no good & I've lost track of all of the freeware programs that I've tried unsuccessfully.

If you could recommend a free program, that would be great.
If you could rip it yourself & send it to me, I'd be even more grateful :)

I just want it for personal use.

Thank You.

I have seen reccos for this, haven't used it, but this is noted at other fori:

StreamTransport

When you are downloading a video with StreamTransport, select the "Show Tasks" option and it will provide you with the details of the file: What location on your hard drive is been downloaded to, at what speed, and also the actual link which you can just copy and paste here, for instance. Not sure if it always works, though.
