cdrecord-dvdpro key problem

I tried to burn a dvd of flac files today using cdrecord-dvdpro though the xcdroast frontend and it is complaining that there is a problem with the key.  Key has not changed.  Reloaded key anyway, still complaining.

Any ideas?

Update for archival info:

the revision of cdrecord-dvdpro I had was an alpha release with a fixed expiration date of 1 year, it was not honoring the date in the key.  New revision works fine.
