I recieved my 391's in the mail!  The suspense is killing me...I will runt hem for the first time this weekend.  I can't wait...prolly set them up in the living room today and crank the stereo!  JB3 should be here by next week sometime.  Now I just need to mod my UA5(doh). So I can run both the 16 and 24 bit simul to JB3 and Lappy(if i can figure out how to power that bitch!)  anywho..can't wait to get the AKG's up on the stand.  Umphrees will be the first big show..next Tues.  But that place sux ass for sound!  doh!

+T's to all of team akg.  go run those 391's.  i just did umphreys with my 391's in feb.  a patcher seeded my show, despite the battery problems i had with the ua-5.  if you wanna hear its on the archives.  most people have said they like DIN best with the 391's, i think i would agree, but if the room is a little low end heavy, run XY that tightens up the bass, from my experience.  good luck.

A live concert to me is exciting because of all the electricity that is generated in the crowd and on stage. It's my favorite part of the business, live concerts.
