This is probably the most comprehensive chart I have found...
1. Sweetwater comparison chart - US based (http://www.sweetwater.com/feature/recorders/chart.php)
2. Wingfield Audio comparison chart - US based (http://www.wingfieldaudio.com/compare-portable-recorders.html) & has audio examples (http://www.wingfieldaudio.com/portable-recorder-sound-samples.html) from each recorder.
3. Transom tools column - US Based (http://transom.org/topics/tools/features/gear-guide//)
Some more thanks to sunjan...
5. Liberman Sound - US based (http://www.libermansound.com/technotes/ts104.php)
6. Corporate Talk Radio - US based (http://www.corporatetalkradio.com/pdr.html)
7. O'Reilly Media - US based (http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/audio/portable-recorder-comparison/)

I like to browse, always looking for the best bang for the $$$ :)

Here's screen-captures of the pages, 2008-01-01, for offline reference. The file-sizes were too big to upload as attachments. The couple free image-hosts I tried resized the images or diminished the quality, making the text more difficult to read. So these are download links to the unscaled and 'clearer' image files, not direct links to the images themselves.

Thank you for posting those charts! Will definitely come in handy while I'm shopping around.

Thanks! Not in the market, but it's still nice to have a bunch of them lined up to compare.

Here's another chart listing specifications for many small recorders.
The chart was updated in November 2008.

I think this link belongs here. It's Avisoft's comparison of microphone input noise levels.
