john, not being a dick, but i doubt alex has an extra 20 to spend, i know i dont;-)
I take it the refurbs don't come with the install disc since several people have had this problem. Unfortunately, the Playcentre software you can download is upgrade only - you need the original install (on the disc you didn't get).I've had a few people download it from me (ftp)- you're welcome to do the same if you pm me. It's only about 27 MB zipped.

ya know, i've never had a problem with the playcenter or the file manager that came with the nomad. i've never tried notmad, maybe i'm missing out on something. but i guess if i've never had problems, why bother spending $20.
