it's only $100. im not as serious as most of you, but i do like to get good recordings. i mainly hook an 1/8" male stereo trs into my recorder. does the thing provide power for
church mics? i like the idea of not having to set levels and monitor them. can i load the files into izotope 11? i dont want to spend more than $100. thank you in advance

This is my fairly recent recording of the Dead Daisies using the H1E. I used a BB though. "I" think the sound's pretty good, but my ears are 65 years old and been hammered by 50 years of loud gigs! Others might think differently.

Looks like there's an open box one for 89.99 on Sweetwater...they have a 30 day return policy, so if you try it and decide it doesn't fit your needs, you can always return it.

It's light, it's plastic, it's easy to stealth with, doesn't weigh down your pockets, can tape a full day at a festival on 2 AAA Eneloops. I use it primarily as a backup rig. Sounds good enough to my old busted ears, when used with decent mics and a battery box. I ran my 4061s off of the PiP once for a small venue acoustic show and it did well enough.

I can't say it's my favorite deck, but it has it's place in the lineup.

Top Hat:
Sony PCM A10 if you can budget it.
Internal battery and memory (Recorded 2 shows easy but didnt want to push a third, 15 gb internal memory)
Much smaller footprint
