My 722 breaks off a file at 1 hour run time, which for some reason I can't remember, but at 24/96 is 3+ gig I believe. It was set that way when I received it, and always liked it and left it.

I then delete the 2 channels in post if I'm only actually using 2 channels. It can, of course, be set to only record 2 of the 4 channels, but I like knowing it's always set in one particular way. YMMV. I agree Stu. I haven't changed that setting once in 2+ yrs. If I had a 744 I'd do that same thing. I hate having to remember to change stuff back, better to just set it and forget it imo.

I hate having to remember to change stuff back, better to just set it and forget it imo.95% of the time I test everything before I leave the house, but there have been a few times where I'm scratching my head 5 minutes before a show and remembered that I changed something at the last show.
