670 defaults to mp2 file type?
« on: March 16, 2007, 10:05:08 PM »
i have been fooiling around with the ad20 (thanks craig ) in front of the 670..... here's the problem...
I have the 670 set to record at 44.1/PCM/stereo....when I set the input to any of the analog input settings it records thusly.......... but when I switch the input to digi in it automatically defaults to the MP2 setting...when I scroll thru the menu the algor/file setup still says 44.1/PCM/stereo and I have stored that setting but when I go back to main screen and scroll thru display it still says MP2/128kbps......

AAAAAARGH....what am I doing wrong?
Is there a way to defeat this default to mp2 for digi in?
the manual offers no insight except to instruct to do what I've already done

help please and thank you
