Title: Audacity dithering vs. uv22
Post by: MakersMarc on May 10, 2015, 12:45:28 PM
Ok, I still mostly to compact discs, so everything is of course at 16/44.1.

I still have a working mint adk gathering dust. Wondering if anyone's ever tested audacitys dithering against an ad1000 at either uv16 or 20 bits?

I'd still rarely use the 1000, but might haul it out occasionally.

Quite literally the last thing I would ever worry about. I doubt you could ever tell the difference in a blind test, especially when recording live concerts.

 ;D

More of a curiosity as to whether anyone has done any blind testing. My back is too effed up to carry a 1000 and 12v anyway. Thanks!

Makes perfect sense technically ......but my ears still love the sound of a eaa or psp2 into an adk at uv22 more than anything else I've ran.
