DVD batteries only go up to 9v, and you need 12v. When I ran the AD2K, I was using the Tekkeon 3450. This could power it for around 3h:

I'm looking to replace my old boat anchor Eco-charge 12v batteries for my AD2K+ - these things weigh a ton and are loosing their life, so time to upgrade to 2011 technology. Just wondering what options are available out there? Will the DVD batteries folks are using power this thing for a reasonable amount of time? I have a couple of them for my DR-680 but am wondering about the AD2K and compatibility with these batteries, or else other expertal battery options folks can suggest.
