Topic: 722 drive replacement with ata-7 drive

is a ata-7 drive compatible with a 722?  the 722 has a ata-5 controller.

i know ata-6 is backwards compatible with ata-5, but i can't find any info regarding the backwards compatibiltiy of a ata-7 drive.

the reason for this question is i'm considering upgrading the stock 80-gig ata-7 drive in my mac book, and then installing the 80-gig drive in my 722.

i've heard from sound devices, and they say a ata-7 drive should be fine.
