H320 / MicroTrack Matrix
« on: October 03, 2006, 10:23:42 AM »
I just picked up a used iRiver H320 that I wanted to use for doing board recording to mix in with my MicroTrack. I finally got a chance this past weekend to test things out and I was quite pleased with the results because there were no synch issues at all between the two devices when I went to mix them later. Synch at the begining at still in sync at the end, so this looks like the clocks on the devices must be comparable.

To futrher clarify my setup I was running RCA's off the board into the H320 using KOSH's experimental Rockbox build. The MicroTrack was recording SPDIF off a Fast Track Pro with Studio Projects C4's. All devices running on AC power. I'm just thrilled that there were no sync issues as that has been a big problem with past combos of recorders.
