Title: Adobe Audition Multitrack issue
Post by: ashevillain on April 18, 2011, 02:12:29 PM
I just now started having this issue where when I try to insert a particular file into a Multitrack session it decides to put it about 18hours after the start of the start of the session. I can move it to the beginning where it should be but then there is still all of this extra time at the end of the session and when I go to mix it down to stereo it wants to create a huge 12GB file when it should only be like < 1GB.

Any ideas? I've done a few mixes in AA just fine prior to this one so I know it's worked correctly in the past. Usually it puts all files added to the session with the beginning at 00:00.000 not 18:00:00.000.  ::)

edit: I figured out a workaround. Instead of selecting 'mixdown entire sesssion', I have to highlight just the part of the session that actually contains the files and select 'mixdown time selection'. This is kind of a pain in the ass though, especially considering it's worked properly before this particular multitrack mix.
