Title: question re: level knob on old sp-spsb mini 9v battery box
Post by: red on January 12, 2014, 09:57:49 PM
I'm hoping someone can help with my question.  I have an old sp-spsb-# (?) mini 9v battery box I picked up a long time ago for pennies in the yard sale.  (I'm not sure of the correct #, the seller id'd it as a sp-spsb-3).  It has a level control knob like the one pictured here:  http://www.soundprofessionals.com/mas_assets/full/SP-SPSB-2.jpg

I will probably run this into my Tascam dr2d, and don't want to use the battery box level controls - so practically speaking, does this mean I turn them all the way "up" as far as they go, or "down" as far as they go?  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Turn the control all the way up-the control only provides attenuation. No amplification.
