Title: anyone have/use --> Waves H-EQ Hybrid Equalizer
Post by: EarlyMorningRain on February 15, 2016, 12:54:06 PM
Sweetwater has this on sale (today only it looks like) for $49 (when it is normally around $170)

Guess I have never heard of this one, much less used it.

Does anyone else have this and can report on it?

I'm not familiar with that one, but there's a demo download available here: http://www.waves.com/demo?demo=/plugins/h-eq-hybrid-equalizer (http://www.waves.com/demo?demo=/plugins/h-eq-hybrid-equalizer)

Thanks! Trying to download the demo but I'm stuck with their App Manage "App" and cannot get the waves plug in to install (it says it did). Gotta love those App Managers!!   ::)

It's in the bundle of Waves Plugins that I have in VST but I've never used it. I usually don't do a lot of EQing on live recordings but when I do I use the API 550 EQ plugin. I use the L3 Ultramaximizer (very gently) on almost everything.

I have a 4 track to do some work on tonight. I'll fool around with it and see how it works.

I'm a big fan of Fab Filter Pro-Q 2 FWIW
