I am thinking about getting a good A/D for recording shows straight from the soundboard. Hence, the main focus of my queery is not regarding matrix recordings and such.
When I asked around about this here in Stockholm Sweden someone said that this little machine would work miracles, but since the person making this statement is a agent for RME in Sweden I thought I ask here for second opinions.

Sorry, no info about the ADI 2.
I do like RME stuff though. I have a very picky friend using a Fireface 800. I own an ADI 8 DS, ADI 4 DD and a Digiface (with laptop and fixed adapters). All work well and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
But do check up what you pay. First of all, do check used stuff, the ADI-2 sometimes comes up there. Vendolin is a good place to check.

Swedish prices are sometimes a bit inflated. I always run a check on the net. I have had all good experiences from Thomann. There prices are inlcluding swedish moms (VAT) and they state shipping costs clearly.
