You can put most any arm on the hw tables. A lot of the jr's were sold without arms in fact.
I know you like, tape for people's approval and stuff, and wave your tapes around like they're your dick...  but even you can't actually think section tapes from philips sound good.

Mine has an audioquest PT-6 on it.  I think that was VPI's "package" arm.

The "harsh" highs may be more a result of which cartridge your P1 has rather than any differences in the tables themselves.

Exactly what I was thinking. It would be interesting (although a hassle) to swap out the cartridges and compare again.
