Updated DPA Website...and Problem
« on: February 10, 2009, 08:39:19 AM »
DPA has updated it's website.  In the new version, I am unable to get to polar and frequency response graphs.  Is anyone else having this problem, or is it something with my browser/software?

I was checking it out last night.. found a few dead links  They're probably still tweaking it.  I kind of liked the old site, but it will be nice to link directly to mic info if they make that possible.  Haven't tried that yet.

A test link to mic spec info. (titles appear in Danish)

Another to 4060 specs (all English)

The new intro page to the miniature mics makes it clearer which is what.
Still no polar plots.

How strange that they have been lax on this.  They are rigorous on their mics.  Out of character I'd say.  Or, I hope it is out of character.    8)

their old website was a mess, even when I brought the *numerous* typos on its website to the attention of Bruce Myers himself then went uncorrected, yea it is crazy that DPA is so precise in its mission and its products and so careless and carefree about the site that promotes them

Thanks, Moke and Gutbucket...My computer has been acting a little quirky lately, and I wasn't sure if it was the site or the system.  Don't suppose anyone has the 4026/7/8 polar and frequency response graphs lying around somewhere???

i see that they've updated their warranty to five years!! (was two years)

Nice, huh?  For all standard and compact mics purchased after Jan. 1, 2009...

Managed to find the information I was looking for, courtesy of DPA's Benelux distributor (Amptec).  They sent the graphs for all of their compact mics, and not just the wide cards I am interested in.  Tried to post it, but the PDF was a little too big...PM me if you need it, as it doesn't seem like they are in a rush to fix their site!!!
