Bit torrent and/or utorrent help
« on: January 10, 2007, 01:57:02 AM »
So, I've been attempting to upload a show to a sight, and I am having issues.

The file is just over 600MB, and it continually oscillates between uploading, and being stuck at 0kb/sec (paused).  At first I thought it was because I was on two different clients at the same time, but having stopped d/ling on the other (and leaving ONLY the uploading file client on), it is still paused.

Any help out there?  It has never taken this long to upload a file, nor have I seen it this unstable.

I tried the port-forwarding, but when I put the IP address in my address bar, I get a "time-out" message.

Still trying to figure out the world of Bit torrent.

FWIW, I'm using a "2wire 2700HG-B" router which came from AT&T

You have to open the port that your client use on your router and on your firewall (if you have it)

Yep...did that via the port forward option tutorial and router settings.
