Cable question

My AT 853's run into a single wire plug (dont know what else to call it) that looks like a headphone plug. When I put it on a stand its not long enough to reach my batt box>minidisc w/o having to hold it the whole time. What type of a cable would I need to extend the length of any of these as I would think wether I ran an extender cable from the mic's>bat box or bat box>MD I think it would be the same cable...
Thanks alot

just a female 1/8" > male 1/8" stereo cable.
maybe check radio shack or any electronics store, very easy to come across, used one with my at933s > bat box > m1 when i ran that
