PMD660 Phantom Power
« on: October 31, 2017, 02:07:41 PM »
Is there any reason that phantom power should stop working on a Marantz PMD660? I went to use it a couple weeks ago, and it wasn't working. I have used it before, but it's used up the batteries too quickly, so I use a separate unit. I thought with an external battery pack I could do without the external PP unit, but the PP wasn't working.

Luckily, I had my backup rig on hand.

I have used a Tekkeon brick for years to supply power/phantom power to the unit.
