Title: adapting female threads on ld mics for akg km235
Post by: busknuckle on February 19, 2004, 08:26:31 PM
So I'm borrowing some Oktava 319 LD's (thanks again Jonny) to tape a show next Thursday. There is a minor problem though:

The threads on the female connectors attatched to the mics are a larger diameter than the ones on my akg km235 (which can be viewed here: http://www.sonicsense.com/access.htm  scroll down to t-bars)

Any suggestions for a sturdy but reversible solution?

Bill,

This is how we do it on team bama:

Sturdy, and reversable.

I don't think the tape residue would look good on Jonny's 319's.

I'm a step ahead of ya, buddy.  This will take it right off:

(note: I AM NOT advocating that people use WD-40 anywhere near anyone's mics!)
