do you mean a sony 7 pin cable or just a coax cable or do you need a soundcard that can handle a s/pdif signal?
-
That depends on what type of cable you need.
What soundcard / interface are you using, what DAT recorder do you use, and what cables do you have for the DAT recorder already?
-
i dont have digital cable.....i have a D8 that i need to input into my rommates computer. Not sure on teh soundcard he has...mine has a duondblaster soething and from what i hear they are no good.

well you need a sound card with a digital input and from the dat if it is a sony portable dat deck you will need a 7 pin cable (available from a number of online retailers) and you may need a cable from that to the input of the sound card (depending on the length of cable you need)
