There is a lot of love for the JB3 on here, and last night I found out why.  I had been using my MD recorder for over a year, had no problems with it, satisfied with results but because of the limited recording time on the disks I never did stereo recording.  There were other small things that I got used to, but with the JB3 those issues would be no more.  Over the last few months I've upgraded my recording rig and at Velvet Revolver last night I got a chance to use the JB3 and even if the show doesn't sound great (haven't had a chance to transfer yet) the ease for recording was worth the cost.  Getting the gear passed security?  A breeze.  I loved my MD, didn't like the thought of an upgrade, but now I am a believer!
