Comparing Babynbox v1 and v2?
« on: April 15, 2019, 02:37:16 PM »
I ran the v2 for 10 shows or so, my impression is that the top end is a bit sweeter with the v2. Next ten shows will be with v1, starting with last Saturday for Laurie Lewis Trio. Initial impression is that v1 is just not quite as sweet in the high end. Well see. Love both boxes.👍

Oh I’m naming them to keep them straight.

whats the difference? both have no gain stage and presumably minimal signal paths, right?

Nick definitely did something different for v2, exactly what he’s not saying.  :headphones:

V2 has a batttery removal system. A string. Actually works.

I have a V1.  Hoping to do a V1 vs V2 comp and if V2 better upgrade.

V1 white capacitors and V2 brown ones.
