depends where you are in the club.
personaly, I like spaced omnis in the mens room.

seriously though,...even in a small club, location makes all the difference.
and the hyper caps are the money cap for that mic.!

ok it depends on where you are in the venue. if you are closer to back than you are the stage, i'd personally go for XY and nothing else with the oktava cardioid caps. i used to run them for months and this what i usualy ran them in most of the time. it will be boomy back there if this club has any sort of medium sized PA and the cardioids will capture that more than the hypers. XY will focus the sound the best and naturally roll off the low rumbles present in the back of a room. you'll lose stereo seperation but most clubs that small have just a mono PA anyway
if you are closer to the stage than you are the back of the room i'd go somewhere around DIN but with less than 20cm of seperation or the full 20. it depends upon the layout of the club and how wide the stage/PA is. start at 20cm/90ยบ and then tweak the config based upon where exactly you are upfront in the room compared to the PA/stage.

hope that helps!

The info helped alot. I'll probably be fairly close up so I may try DIN.
