I must say I've been super happy with my LSD2. I visited their site today to download the LSD2 manual and this popped up on their front page. I'm not sure if these types of mics would work well for field recording or not because all the mic specs are pretty much gibberish to me. I do know that it looks lot different than any other type of mic they have..sorta like those m-audio mics that are available.
