Oktava Mics (sweet deals)
« on: September 10, 2005, 02:54:54 PM »
I just got this Guitar Center flyer in the mail the other day, and they are having some sweet deals on some Oktava mics:

MC-012 - $69.99/ea (list: $499.99)
MK-319 - $69.99/ea (list: $599.99)
MK-2500 - $99/ea (list: $899.99)

Anywho, I've seen a bunch of tapers using the MC-012's, and I was wondering what everyone's take was on them. For $70 each, they might not be a bad deal.

"fakeness" or not, these mics are still a great deal for a person getting into it because they have the rare ability to expand with different caps.  Also i doubt the chinese ones sound worse.
mics & cameras
