Keep getting this error:
"Seek failed on an unnamed file."
How do I do this in Adobe Audition 2.0?
-
By merging you mean append one to the end of another?
If so open the first file in Audition then (just to be safe) put the cursor at file end and Open Append the next file.
if you mean something else you'd need to be more precise for me to get it ;D

^ Is the Append function effectively a copy/paste macro? I've always used copy/paste with no issues.
-
Append pastes the second file to the end of the first seamlessly (so it is a plain paste since you don't have to waste the time on the copy part of copy/paste and I think don't have to worry about making sure you're end of file when combining parts).

Thanks! Works great. I've always used wavmerge for 16bit files and addawav for 24. I've had Cool Edit and Audition forever and never used these functions.

^ I'm of the KISS school (when appropriate). Glad that helped.

used 'open append' to solve this issue with merging 2 24/96 files. using 'paste' gave me a very small 'tick' and gap b/t the 2. all on adobe auditon 3...
