Nice & inexpensive bag
« on: March 05, 2021, 10:20:55 PM »
Just saw amazon basics large camera sling bag.
https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Basics-Large-DSLR-Camera-Gadget-Bag-11-x-6-x-8-Inches-Gray/dp/B084CGGY1X/ref=cm_wl_huc_item

11 x 6 x 8, $27.54

Looks just right for a medium rig. Don't see whether it has a waterproof fly though.

I use a amazon bag also.  Tim turned me onto.  The orange inside is a nice contrast in color for using your "dark"gear.  Padded as well as any bag I used.  No rain fly, but I ALWAYS have a big ol black garbage bag with me.  Ed

Yup! Ed, tip- use a white garbage bag instead. When the the sun dips the spunions can still sorta see it and less likely to trample gear IME....

And you can see through a white bag a bit, making sure the blinky lights are still going.

This one? It's what I have been using for years. It has been rock solid. I bought a cheap rain fly off eBay for the rare occasions that is a concern.

Yep.  Love it.  Using it about 2-3 yrs after retiring a big ol lowpro.  Figured I try it, the "basics" bag. If it didn't work out I could use it for storage.   Use it full time.  Last night even.  Nice to get out!!!  Ed
