Izotope listed Black Friday Pricing on their website today 11/29/2024

They listed RX11 Standard - $79.60
Ozone 11 Advanced - $99.60
I see the Ozone 11 Standard for $79.60, and the RX 11 Standard for $239.40. https://www.izotope.com/en/deals

My experience now is that there is no stand-alone version past Ozone 9, it is a plug-in collection instead.?

Trying to arrange a refund this week with someone named "Nanni" from an order I made for Ozone 10 in 2023

Getting the slow walk from them sofar.....I tried to install the Ozone 10 they sent, and was shocked and horrified that it wouldn't launch

Got a lot of cororate mumblespeak back from "Andrew P" but finally, 'Yes, please do note that Ozone 10 and Ozone 11 unfortunately do not include a standalone app. These products only include audio FX plug-ins which can be hosted in a DAW.

I'll forward this case to the order support team and they will be able to assist with a refund early next week.'

It looks like something is on sale on the website now for $29.99. Will that price get me a lot of the features? I don't have any izotope at all at the moment. is that really really cheap or am I missing something?thanks, scott

the cheap version of RX is still remarkably good, but not very flexible.  The main benefit that $30 will get you is upgrade pricing for RX/Ozone

I PERSONALLY use ozone way more than rx, inside of logic.

Okay sounds like I should just save my money ...so that 30 bucks won't do anything with getting rid of close clapping and yelling on recordings?

What I do is run Ozone to analyze the recording, then turn off everything it suggests except levels, then adjust the left and right channels to correct for the differences in my caps, and adjust levels so that applause noise is compressed but normal audio is left fully dynamic, then normalize to -0.5db

After 12+ years of using Audacity and other freeware for editing, I finally just pulled the trigger on iZotope RX 11 Standard Audio Repair Software from Sweetwater for $213 total with tax. (https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RX11Std--izotope-rx-11-standard-audio-repair-software) Electronic delivery, so it will get installed this week.

I asked one of their sales engineers if it was a plug in or standalone version. He response was "iZotope RX 11 standard Includes both the standalone version of RX as well as the VST plugins so feel confident you can use it both ways."

I have tried twice to get threads going about UVR5 or izotope RX with no luck. But I really would love to discuss both of those and spectralayers 11 with others using the programs.

I started a thread: https://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=206399.0

Huh, only Ambiance Match and De-rustle. Definitely not worth the extra then, at least for most people.

That's the plug-ins.  Quite a few extra modules in the Advanced.

Oh, I missed the lower part of the page you linked.

Still the only one I might ever use would be de-wind.
Have you (or anyone) ever used that?
