iPhone will see MixPre via USB-C as a Class Compliant device and audio can be routed to any app, with no need to do 2 stages of A/D - D/A via 1/8". This is the easiest and highest quality way I have found to do what you describe.
I want to feed my DPA 4022 mics via MixPre 10ii line out to a USB-B hub to feed an Apple iPhone 16max. Anyone ever try this type of setup? How can I setup the line out levels going into the iPhone? Any latency issues?https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UCA222--behringer-u-control-uca222-usb-audio-interface?mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=1&mrkgcat=proaudio&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=&lid=58700008696010903&dsproductgroupid=&product_id=UCA222&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=c&network=x&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=1026990&creative=&targetid=&campaignid=21160912466&awsearchcpc=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAsOq6BhDuARIsAGQ4-zgAYV4fFZeIDufNaTXQQhPBK2yTn7JfKUBrT-01cpVDSgRVxtuUvKQaAqY1EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.dsThis Interface will t/f to 24/48 wav from deck using 3/8" aux/rca breakout cable then plug in USB female/USBc adapter or cable > PhoneBecasue the audio will now be converted to 24 bit keep some headroom on your input levelsYou can adjust stereo output from the deck by going to the outputs tab on the LED screen then highlight stereo output adjust with lright wheel. I usually keep it at 0 db and input levels around -6db'sHope that helps
