Title: Periodic mic maintenance
Post by: Kevin Straker on October 05, 2006, 02:42:17 PM
I use my mics in alot of smokey places. I'm wondering if I should send them in to Schoeps and have them cleaned/checked out every once in a while? Does anyone else do this?

Paging Teddy.....

Basically, if you're not squeamish about poking around inside your mics, this is something you can do yourself. Teddy just linked a great article about it in another thread yesterday ot the day before, but I'm sure he can point you to dozens more on this subject.
