I am editing my first recording in Sound Studio and I have two files that are one song. They were divided by my 722 during recording and I don't know how to put them back together into one file.
Help.

Open both files.
Copy the second file (Apple-A, Apple-C to select all then copy).
Place your cursor at the end of the first file.
Paste the second file at the end of the first file (Apple-V to paste the audio).
You should then be able to track, etc. with the resultant file.

I tried that and it works however, after I did that I noticed a "skip" or sound where I made the paste. I zoomed in when I joined them to make shure I didn't overlap or anything. What did I do wrong?

Did the 722 split the files because of an error, or did the first one reach the 2GB limit? This method should give a seamless split (works every time I've had to use it).

I thought it was at the 2 GB limit. I'll try it with another show and see what happens. +T
