Title: broadcast u-matic 3/4" dubbing needed...

hey kids..i have 3 broadcast u-matic tapes that i need to get to DV.....can any one help?

No replies yet, so I'll pitch in....  All TV stations will have that format as will all schools with multimedia classes (even some high schools)....  You will also have some transfer houses in your area (Detroit, right?)... Yellow pages for video, but that will be at a premium price, that's their business model.  If you need it saved back toa different tape format or DV even, a school or TV station could do it more easily.  If you want it on DVD, that's an extra step that you may be able to do for yourself later....

found a place in ann arbor that'll do it for about $40 per tape to DVCAM tape....and will also get the audio to WAV @ 24/48 for me....

very much music related.....4 cam shoot april 1989 @ metro, chicago.....fIREHOSE, screaming trees, Dos

splitting the $$ fee with a friend so its not too painfull...+ a guarantee on the transfer if im not satisfied with it....dude threw in 24 bit wav transfer for audio for me as well.....
