Hi
i use this setup : pcm-m10 + rode lavalier. I don't really have enough gain. I only use the rode lavalier to talk in it in front of a camera. Its to record my voice in different environement
I thought of other setups:
1) church audio ugly 2 + pcm-m10 + rode lavalier (FOR MORE GAIN)
2) sound devices mp1 + pcm-m10 + rode lavalier (FOR MORE GAIN)
3) tascam dr100mkii or tascam dr70d + pcm-m10 + rode ( FOR MORE GAIN)
I don't want to spend too much money, but i would like to upgrade my initial setting.
ANy thoughts ?

It's been a few months since you posted this. Did you figure it out, or do you still need some advice here?
Just an FYI on your 3rd setup. Both of those Tascam products mentioned have their own phantom power, but I don't think their Plug-in power will be any different than the M-10. I have a Pcm-M10 + CA Ugly + CA-14 and they work fine together. If your interested in moving up in mics, there is someone in the Yard Sale looking to trade their Tascam DR-70 straight up for a Sony PCM-M10. This would provide you the ability to use up to 4 condenser mics with phantom 48.

Not sure why you would even consider doing the tascam in front of the m10, just use the tascam all together if that's the case. Then again I wouldn't touch a dr70
