Title: Audacity level tweaking tips (mac)
Post by: Zaphod on January 07, 2006, 10:03:17 AM
So I've got a source where the right channel is peaking on 0dB throughout the set and the left channel is way below, peaks at -4dB.

I've played around a bit in Audacity. I amplified the left channel to it maximum (I think), then normalized both channels together, yet still the left channel is coming in a few dBs below where I would like it.

Is there a better way to get the channels in better porportion?

Normalize each channel independently.
