Greetings All!
I'm looking for the "best" SD-based portable recorder that doesn't require the use of external mics. I'll be traveling through Europe this summer, backpacking, so I need to minimize the amount of equipment that I'm carrying. For the most part, I'm looking to document conversations, cityscapes, and, of course, musical performances. A friend of mine has a Zoom H4, which I quite like, but I was wondering if there is anything comparable without the mic inputs that costs a bit less. I've poked around the forum & run a few searches looking for a rundown of a few SD recorders in these regards but haven't found anything specific, and often times reviews are much more technical than I need. Any advice?
Thanks for your help!

The Zoom H2 (H4 little brother) will be out in May and should be about $200 US
