I just happened to return to the www.r-09.com website that I had bookmarked, and it seems that Edirol just started a series of WEEKLY R-09HR giveaways.

When I visited the Roland website, there was nothing about it in the promotion area, ...so it must be brand new(?)
It seems legit according to the Roland legal-eze.

Check it out at www.r-09.com! Just watch all of the tutorial videos, and an entry form will pop up.

Indeed. We don't exist?

But at least their Belgian support did respond via email.

The Belgiam support says that the Japanese engineers don't want to share how the R09HR's limiter in the WM codec chip is set up.
I think this is very disappointing since it concerns just a few basic numbers.
And I want to be able to judge the working of a limiter not just by hearing but also by seeing numbers.
