Whats the deal with CF support?  Is it able to support 8GB cards? Larger cards with the firmware update? Did you have to send it in to get flashed?  I read through the 671 threads but havent seen any recent updates on what it's capable of card wise.  Does the update fix the "recording time remaining" issue? 24/96 OK through SPDIF?
