Make sure you ask Chris about the gain markings on the ST-20...I seem to recall him saying the stickers didnt match the actual gain settings on some models...?

Thanks for the notion. There was a negative value printed on the marking which was later corrected by pen to +6db, so I believe this is a real number (and the level on the recorder changes accordingly).
