M10 recording over a recording

Hi,
I would like to know if it possible to record a tune, and then while playing it record on top of it, so i can sing while i play the first recording ?

As far as I know I don't think you can do that on the m10, but it would be cool.

transfer the tracks to your PC...play it on your PC with headphones - and play along while recording "take 2"...transfer and sync that...and so on.

FWIW, the Tascam DR40 has an overdub function that allows this to be done directly.
