Thanks in advance for your help.

I have been unable to "register" my recent download of CD Wave on a new Windows 10 machine.  When I click "register" I am unable to open the "Help File" for CD Wave which contains instructions on how to register the shareware.  Is this registration no longer necessary?  I registered my prior downloads of this shareware on my older machines.

First, it never worked any differently if it was registered or not. I lost my original registration info and on subsequent installations, I left it unregistered. It has no impact on performance or functionality.

That said, sometime in the not too distant past, the software's author made it freeware.

Since sales have dropped beyond the point that the costs outweigh the benefits, CD Wave is now Freeware. Contrary to what the program may say, you can use CD Wave for free, on any machine, for any number of users. Don't worry about the "unregistered" message, the program will not stop functioning
