Samplitude version Questions
« on: February 10, 2006, 12:15:01 PM »
I'm hearing that Samplitude is probably the best bet for Multitrack 24/96 editing.  The question is.  what version do I want.  There are some fairly ggod deals on 6.0 on Ebay, and it seems like it might be all I need.  Does anyone have any feedback on the version I need if I want to take 2-3 stereo 24/96 wav files and mix them down to a single 24/96 DVD audio file, then burn to DVD-A?

thanks

Brian

Jake: What's this?
Elwood: What?
Jake: This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? The Caddy? Where's the Caddy?
Elwood: The what?
Jake: The Cadillac we used to have. The Blues Mobile!
Elwood: I traded it.
Jake: You traded the Blues Mobile for this?
Elwood: No. For a microphone.
Jake: A microphone? Okay I can see that.

Samplitude 6 will do you just fine. The only thing I like(d)(I use sequoia now) is that 7 and after have the POW-R 3 dither included.Sounds the best to my ears.Beware, it aint wavelab...the learning curve is steep.
