Here's an update regarding my problem with 4G splits:  the problem seems to have been solved by the new firmware.

I was running something like 1.17 and now I have the V2 update with the associated firmware.   After 70 hours of recording with 4G splits, I've not had any issue and it's still running.  I'm going to keep going for a few more days but I have confidence it will continue to work since the test never made it this far with the old firmware.  The bug was probably fixed somewhere along the way and you guys either are lucky enough to have never seen the problem with the early firmware or you have a newer unit.  Thanks again for testing for me.   I'm happy with SD for the quick turn around on the update and now this issue seems to be resolved.

+T Brother, that is great news :) You were a little outdated on the firmware id say ;)

I have been running batt tests and taped 2 shows with 2.15, and it seems to be solid so far. I have more batt tests to do all day too :) so 2.15 will def get a workout before allgood
