any field reports on PD audio-CF???

          Looks pretty decent......supports optical as well as coaxial in....but no ouputreportedly does 24/96 no problems......I'm planning to run 24/48 from the 2k> my laptop

I don't know if anybody is using it with a lappy.  Core Sound has a Win XP driver, but I've heard it does not work.  I record 24/96 with my PDA rig.  It definitely works, but it is more complicated than simply pressing the "record" button.

I know at least one person on the nycheads list has his PDA rig rock solid.  If you don't get help you need, ask there.
