Anyone make one of these DIY 7Pin -> Optical output cables?

I'd really like to try to make one, but I've made attempts making things way less complicated than this, and failed miserably... If there is anyone that can do this, I'd be willing to pay someone to make one...

oddly enough i just made one last night

works flawlessly, doing some long term testing right now

After you test it, are you confident enough to make one for someone else?  I will give cash... kinda a bind now, cuase all the options are kinda crappy!
