Cheap...if nothing else. Might solve some cabling/location issues for tapers.
Looks like this project needs backers, though...not too familiar with cloud-sourcing...but doesn't look like they are going to make their goal.
I'd throw down for the 2 pack if I can drum up the jack.
I don't record too regularly - but I still get around a few times a year...pretty happy with the DR-70D.
But this looks like fun. Plug-in power might be attractive for >:D

It looks like a great idea with a solid sturdy piece of hardware.
But I get the impression that it’s more of a subscription based cloud service supported hardware.
A little more open in the distribution end would have felt better. But I’m not the ideal user either so perhaps I misunderstand all its great benefits.

Crowdfunding. Will this product take off? Who knows.
I can just imagine someone with a box of these, inserting one for every mixer input channel. Hey can I split your microphone cable :)

The attraction for tapers might be the ability to get a stereo board feed - and then using another Reclouder, record from your spot of choice in the room.
Unclear how they achieve clock sync between the devices.

It has a "professional quality pre-amp" so I guess we don't need specs. And I suppose the A/D is done by elves.
