Title: how to remove belt clip from ps-2
Post by: weroflu on December 30, 2013, 11:01:21 AM
I tried the smallest hex key handy and it was maybe just a hair too small. Anyone know what size key to use to unscrew the clip?

My tools are all disorganized at the moment, but if you're dealing with a variety of equipment, you'll definitely need both a metric set of Allen wrenches and an "English" (fractions-of-an-inch) set. Most hardware stores have them for only a few bucks.

I'll post again later if I find my sets before anyone else posts the actual answer; I think I still have a PS-2 that I haven't removed the belt clip from.

Thanks for the effort.

I just checked the sizes used. metric 1.5mm was too small and 2mm was too big.

according to the chart found here http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/science/allen-wrench-conversion.htm, there are 2 SAE/english sizes between 1.5mm and 2mm (1/16" and 5/64") -- looks like it's time for a trip to the hardware store :)
