Back in '05 I was running the C3 multi pattern. Big mics. Apart from the obvious visual clutter you might create on stage with the B3s, which are smaller but still a "bright" looking mic, they should serve you well. I found the C3s to be pretty decent for the price. Perhaps lacking a bit in the bottom tightness area but mids and highs I thought were pretty natural. Good Luck

You will not be disappointed. Blumlein. split omnis, split cards, the hyper pattern sounds great. Thinking about getting another used pair while they are still around just to have in the closet for the occasional gig since they are discontinued.
